Q: What can I store in the Cache Cap™?

A: Small, flat, lightweight items work best: cash, cards/ID, a key, a mini ferro rod, bandages, dog bags, a coin cell light, or items from our Adventure or Essentials Kits.

If it’s bulky, sharp, or heavy, it’ll print and feel weird on your head.

Q: Does the Cache Cap™ fit “shallow” or ride high on some heads?

A: On some people, yes, especially if you have a larger head or load up the pockets. Because the cap has built-in storage, adding bulky or stacked items can make it sit a bit higher than a normal hat.

Best Results: keep stored items flat and minimal, and avoid stacking thick objects in the dome pockets if you’re sensitive to fit.

Q: Can I access the pockets while wearing it?

A: The brim pocket is sometimes reachable while wearing it, but most pockets are easier to access if you take the hat off.

For stealth + comfort, we recommend popping it off, grabbing what you need, and popping it back on.

Q: Will items fall out of the pockets? What should I store to keep it secure and comfortable?

A: The Cache Cap™ works best with small, flat items. Overstuffing or using bulky items can make the hat sit higher and can cause items to shift when taking the hat on/off.

Recommended items: cash, cards, ID, folded dog bags, Band-Aids, tiny tools, small tinder tabs, etc.

Avoid: thick stacks, heavy tools, or anything rigid/bulky that changes the shape of the crown
